کلید های میانبر، کلید های ترکیبی (گاه یک کلید) هستند که به فشردن آن از روص صفحه کلید، فرمان خاصی از برنامه مورد نظر اجرا می شود. برنامه های قدرتمند دارای کلید های میانبر زیادی هستند که می تواند علاوه بر آسان نمودن کار با برنامه، می تواند سرعت عمل کاربر را نیز بیشتر کند.
مرورگر قدرتمند IE7 (مخفف عبارت Internet Explorer 7) نیز دارای کلید های میانبر بسیار زیادی است که اگر شما بدانید که آنها چه فرمانی را انجام می دهند و از همه آنها اطلاع پیدا کنید می تواند در وبگردی شما تاثیر خوبی داشته باشید و شما سرعت عملی بیشتری داشته باشید.
نکته: بعصی از این کلید های میانبر امکان دارد در نسخه های قبلی مرورگر اینترنت اکسپلورر کار نکند.
